Embellish Magazine Felt Challenge

Hey guys! I was really excited to actually be able to participate in a few of my favorite challenges so I made up my cards and photographed them last night!(Sorry for the bad pics) I started writing up my post today and realized I was too late on the DeNami Designs product challenge but im going to post it anyways :) So... here are my cards for Embellish Mag Felt Color Challenge and EBTKS sketch challenge using the color combo from PDCC!

Both cards are made using my Wilson Designs Snowy Wishes set and the one below is used in combination with the DeNami Designs Medium Curly Christmas tree arent they adorable together?

Embellish Color Challenge and Denami Template Challenge!

Hi everyone, hope you guys are having a great day!

I have two awesome challenges for you to play along in! I made them to match each other so that is why they are in the same post!

My first challenge is the Embellish Color Challenge using Labels! I love the choice of colors, I used PTI Lemon Tart, Dark Chocolate and Berry Sorbet. I had been using the Berry and Chocolate as my favorite combo for a little while now but I love it with the Lemon Tart added in!

My next challenge is Denami Designs Product Challenge #2! The templates were provided for the challenge, how cute is that bag template! I resized it larger and cut the purse flap shorter to allow the flower more room.

Sorry for the photos, I edited them to get a little closer to the real color but its still a little off!

Two Challenges, One Post!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a crafty day today like I did! I got quite a bit done today at my good friend Maile's house. I managed to get two challenge cards done in no time! My first challenge is Embellish Butterflies Color Challenge, sponsored by Skipping Stones Design and I have got to tell you I really had fun using their stamps! The inspiration colors are black, kraft and green.
Arent those colors awesome? I thought I might have a difficult time with them since im not usually a fan of green but it came together pretty fast!

My next challenge is a sketch challenge at 2S4Y that is sponsored by W+9 so of course I had to play along since I would love to win some of Dawn's stamps! I turned the sketch on its side and used the sentiment as the smallest box, can you see the sketch in my design?

Embellish Color Challenge, Parties!

Hey everyone, here is what I made for the Embellish Color Challenge, go check it out and play along! I made this inspired by a good friends bridal shower, hope you like it! The petal holder is actually a vellum candle surround that you can put the flameless tea light in for a candle holder or you can tape it around a vase to add a quick pattern to a simple clear vase! Oh and the best part about this set is that I made the patterned paper in Photoshop CS3! Im quite proud of this print ha ha! It can be very time consuming but I think it turned out great.

Embellish Stitching Color Challenge!

Hey everyone! Have another challenge card to post! This one is from Embellish Magazine and you can check it out HERE. The requirements were to make something using the three colors above and it had to have stitching. Sorry for the photo, the aqua mist looks more like turqoise but its not! I used Hot off the Press stamps, Edges and Borders set for the rows of trim, their 15 Butterflies and Dragonflies template for the butterfly and the damask print is also a Hot off the Press stamp from the Vintage Ladies set, you can purchase everything HERE.

Embellish Fabric Color Challenge!!!

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my next challenge card ! It is an Embellish magazine challenge and you can check it out HERE! I have got to tell you that this challenge threw me for a loop :) I had a hard enough time with the colors but to add in fabric was challenging ha ha! I used some satin fabric and to get the petal look I burned the edges while holding it gathered in the center. So with that said here it is!

Embellish Borders Color Challenge!!

Hi everyone, as you can see I have been challenge crazy lately :) I figure its good practice and sometimes I make a card that im actually satisfied with ha ha! This post is one of those times thankfully! If you want to see more about the challenge click here! I hand cut the card, grass and basket handle so please dont be too hard on me :) P.S sorry for the pictures, the colors arent right, they are Papertrey Ink colors Spring Moss, Lemon Tart,  Sweet Blush and Melon Berry!
