Wee Memories and Caring Hearts Blog Hop!!!

Hello all!
This weeks Wee Memories post is going to be a little different! Jenny has decided to combine our monthly hop with the Vera Yates ♥ CARING HEARTS CARD DRIVE ♥ Blog Hop!!! How fun and its for a great cause so I hope you can all hop along! My first card (above) is made using my own Snowy Wishes set! Are you guys sick of it yet? :) I am having so much fun with this set! My second card (below) is strictly stickers and rub-ons! In an effort to deplete my ever growing stash I am going to try to use up some of my stickers and DP! Fall Blog Hop!!! CONTEST NOW CLOSED!

For my project I made a halloween party mask and lantern! The mask template can be found HERE so you can make your own! I used the template to cut out my paper then adhered it to some chipboard, cut it out with a Exacto knife, bent it to get the right angle and added the trim and May Arts flower that I cut out from THIS trim, which was colored with my Copic marker. Sooo easy!!

Smeared Ink New Release Blog Hop!!!

Hello everyone!!! Smeared Ink is releasing their next stamps so in honor of that our lovely DT is having a hop!!! I had a blast with these digi stamps! So fun for fall :) I hope you can all join us and hop around to see the other projects!

Simply Betty Blog Hop!!!

Hey guys! I have something a little different for you today! I am on the Smeared Ink Design Team and our sponsor for the month is Simply Betty Stamps, My Kids Emo World stamps and so I had the opportunity to work with this super cute stamp! Betty challenged us to "Get Grungy with Simply Betty Stamps!" Our theme is black and metal. I had a hard time deciding what to do at first until I thought FOIL :) I cut it to size and embossed it with my Texture Boutique. I really tried to distress the metal with blank ink but it just made a big mess so I had to drop that idea!

Wee Memories Challenge #7 & Papertrey Ink Blog Hop!

Hello everyone! Are you enjoying my amazing new layout?I am!!! It was all done by Jenny at Wee Memories so if you would like her to give you a blog makeover like mine, please shoot her an email!!!! She drew most of it by hand can you believe that? Thanks again Jenny! Onto my reason for this post! This is my entry for this weeks Wee Memories challenge and for the Papertrey Blog Hop! Jennys challenge is "Skys the Limit" requiring anything that flies in the sky and this months Papertrey Ink Blog Hop theme is felt! I drew the little flags in PS3 because I didnt have any that were to scale and the balloons are digis. What do u think? I am really into the bright and fun stamps for summer because we havent had much warmth yet :) Lets put it this way, yesterday morning it snowed here, so I cant tell you how much I am looking forward to warm weather!!!

Smeared and Smudged Ink Blog Hop!!!

Hey everyone, its that time again! Time for the Smeared and Smudged Ink blog hop! In honor of April Fools Day we have added little "surprises" to our creations so check them out! Also, please go give some love to Smeared Ink, where I am a DT member officially TODAY, by checking out all the awesome stamps HERE and to the Smeared and Smudged forum HERE! My inspiration for this card was thanks to my husband who plays guitar :) I have a hard time with masculine cards so thought it would be good to make one for the hop! I distressed a coordinate of the guitar print paper with ink to make the HI sentiment, used clear embossing powder on the designs to give them dimension and made the pop-up elements for the inside also dimensional with the embossing powder. In order to cover the slits that I made for the pop-up element I used the same patterned paper to cover the back. The rest is pretty easy to figure out :) Happy Hopping and tell me all the tricks you play today!

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop!!! Buttons

Hey everyone! It is hectic today so I am sorry for the poor photos. Here is my card for the PTI Hop! If you would like to join in the fun you can get the details HERE. This card was hard to photograph because of the pearly buttons but you get the idea :) I drew up the bunny shape and then tried to fit as many buttons in as I could. The flower is also hand made since I just  (today) got my Cuttlebug! Needless to say, there will be less hand cutting in my projects! YAY!!! :) Cardstock is all PTI and buttons are Autumn Leaves! Sorry this card has NO stamping can you believe it? I had a hard time trying to figure out how to incorporate it so I just didnt :) I embossed the aqua mist with a small dot folder and the leaves of the flower too, sorry you cant see it well in the photos!

First ever Smeared & Smudged Blog Hop!!!

Hi guys! Happy Thursday and its also my husband's bd!!! Yay :) so I will be checking out everyones blogs before and after the festivities but here are all the ladies I am hopping around with so please check them out!!! You can check out Smeared Ink Stamps HERE they are super fun and unique and you can also read her blog HERE or on the list under Terra! Anyhow, onto the hop! I made this card with my new Bombshell stamps, a couple love bird stamps, and one of my Papertrey Ink sentiments. I embossed the birds in black to give it more texture but not distract from the focal point and I hand cut the grooves for the ribbon and left it a little loose so it would gather! Hope you like it! :)
