Etsy Inspired Challenge #107!!!

Hello out there!!! I am sad to say that this is my last Etsy Inspired Challenge post of the month! I have had a lot of fun designing from such fabulous inspiration! I hope you guys can play along with us this week because if you havent played before its sooo much fun! The inspiration can be a little intimidating sometimes but it really helps round you out as a crafter! There is so much inspiration all around us! A good friend, also a genius of inspiration,  Miss Maile Belles, carries around a notebook and sketches her ideas and we both take photos of patterns etc that inspire us so I hope that Etsy Inspired can do the same for you! I know you will have a blast playing with the sweet girls there! Thank you for having me ladies and keep up the good work!!!

Etsy Inspired Challenge #106!!!

Hey guys!!! This is my third week as the guest designer for Etsy Inspired Challenge and I am really having fun! The DT girls are so awesome and I am loving the inspiration can you tell? :) I am a very literal crafter when it comes to inspiration photos, I like to see the likeness in my designs and these Etsy shops have made that so easy!

Two of my favorite challenges!!!

Hey guys, I got two awesome challenges for you all rolled up in one card! I only combine challenges when they work well together and these were perfect!

A sketch for EBTKS and a product challenge at Etsy Inspired. This time it is from an Etsy store called MERMAIDS TEARS with cool seaglass jewelry! As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew I wanted to make it a chandelier and the pendant which I had already chosen reminded me of one also so it was a great fit! I dont make one layer cards too often so it was hard for me not to add a lot of un-needed embellishments!

Etsy Inspired Challenge, United Thread!

Hi everyone, what a day :) Here is my challenge card for The Etsy Inspired Challenge blog. You can read about the challenge HERE and the shop that I got my inspiration from is HERE. They have amazing art so check it out!!! Anyhow, onto my card! I love THIS drawing and immediately when I saw it I knew I wanted to do a dandelion. I used my Unity stamp and embossed it in white then added flocking to give it the texture then added the pearls and it looked like the leaves were bare so I took a button and cut it in half and used it as leaves. What do you think? I still dont know if I love the idea but it definantly added the depth I was looking for :)
